After completing ICSE from St Joseph’s School, Darjeeling, West Bengal, in 1985 and HSE from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, Maharashtra, in 1987, Dr Sharad C Rai continued his journey to complete under graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka and Post graduation in Ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka in 1992 and 1997 respectively. Since 1997 he has served people in very far-flung areas in Nepal. He has completed his super specialisation fellowship training in Vitreoretina from the esteemed Sankara Netralaya, Chennai, India from 2004 to 2006. He is currently the Chairperson of the hospital.

Dr Triptesh Raj Pandey continued his journey to complete under graduation from B P Koirala Institute of Health & Science, Dharan, Nepal and Post graduation in Ophthalmology from B P Koirala Lions Center for Ophthalmic Studies in 2010 and 2015 respectively. Since completing his post graduate studies Dr Triptesh Raj Pandey continued rigorous fellowship training in Anterior segment for two years from 2015 to 2017 at Biratnagar Eye Hospital, Biratnagar, Nepal and second fellowship training in Oculoplastic, Orbit & Lacrimal Surgery from Jan 2018 to June 2018 at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Dr Ritesh Kumar Shah continued his journey to complete under graduation from Manipal College of Medical Science, Pokhara, Nepal and Post graduation in Ophthalmology from B P Koirala Lions Center for Ophthalmic Studies in 2007 and 2013 respectively. Since completing his post graduate studies Dr Ritesh Kumar Shah continued working for various eye hospitals like Manmohan Memorial Hospital, CHEERS, Lions Eye Hospital before undergoing a rigorous fellowship training in Vitreo-Retina for from 2017 to 2018 at Bharatpur Eye Hospital, Bharatpur, Nepal. He has working experience as Vitreo-Retinal consultant and training VR fellows at Mechi Eye Hospital.

After completing her twelfth from Birat Science Campus, Biratnagar, Dr. Rajashee Shrestha pursued her MBBS from Zainul Haque Sikder Women’s Medical College in Dhaka, post-graduation in Ophthalmology from NAMS, Nepal, and went on to work at several eye hospitals including Fateh Bal Eye Hospital and Itahari Eye Hospital, before completing a fellowship in Cornea and External Eye Disease at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and serving as a senior consultant ophthalmologist, phaco, and corneal surgeon in Nepalgunj.

She went ahead with the Bachelor in Education (population studies) TU board in the year 2000 from Kathmandu, Nepal. In thirst of more knowledge she completed her BSc Nursing from Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai, India in 2006. Her latest credentials is MBA in Human Resource Management, IGNOU, New Delhi, India in 2016.
