On 12th December 2018, we had Free Eye Surgical Screening Camp at Buddha Shanti Gau Palika, Buddhabare, Jhapa, Nepal with financial assistance by NIC Asia.
Camp benefited 144 patients & among those 14 patient\’s Surgery were done for free.

With this mission of altruistic community service, Dr. Sharad C. Rai established MNORC in the year 2007 with 15 beds and 11 staff members. Since this humble beginning, today Mechi Netralaya has grown in leaps and bounds to establish itself as the Centre of Excellence in Vitreo-Retina,Topical Phacoemulsification and Reconstructive Ocular surgeries in the eastern region of Nepal.
